ALDER Property Group provides a full suite of management services for commercial real estate clients. Through our investment arm, ALDER Strategic Capital, we deploy our own funds in a wide range of real estate transactions.

For lenders, fund managers, non-profit groups, and private investors, our vast capabilities run the gamut—from property management and asset management to acquisition, disposition and receivership services.

In addition to our third party services, ALDER Strategic Capital invests either as a limited partner by providing equity capital to real estate operators or directly acquiring and managing its own assets. Management Bios
Ian S. Deutsch Managing Director
Ian Deutsch brings to ALDER a wide range of real estate experience including management, leasing, acquisitions and sales. Deutsch develops and executes property-specific management strategies to maximize value and increase cash flow. He oversees financial reporting, budgeting, maintenance programs, capital improvement work, new leasing and lease administration.
Deutsch developed a strong owner’s mentality from prior experience investing alongside a closely-held real estate investment company and an opportunistic hedge fund. He worked to identify strategic ways to add value through acquisitions, management, leasing and dispositions.
Deutsch is a licensed real estate broker and certified receiver in the state of New York.
Joseph French, Jr., CCIMManaging Director
Mr. French has more than 20 years of development, asset and property management, leasing and investment sales experience. In addition to his work at Alder, he is Senior Director of the National Retail Group at Marcus & Millichap and has been involved in transactions involving more than 80 properties totaling over 7 million square feet and worth over $750 million.
He has worked in a variety of market cycles including the dramatic downturn in the 90s, during which he handled transactions with the Resolution Trust Corporation.
Prior to joining ALDER and Marcus & Millichap, French served as the National Director of Retail & Managing Director for Sperry Van Ness as well as the Northeast Regional Director for the Asset Recovery Team (SVN-ART) where he played a leadership roll. He holds the coveted CCIM designation and is a licensed real estate broker in the state of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Mississippi.
